If you build your own 'measure your weight' machine be sure to CALIBRATE
carefully. This means many tests with known masses under differing
conditions.
An interesting approach wold be to buy two or three commercial
electronic bathroom scales and figure out the interface between the
sensor array and the digital LCD display module. These displays have a
limited number of possibilities for their encoding schemes.
