Hi, I am thinking about applying for an NSF grant (US) for doing a specific image processing project and probably prefer and am content to do that alone as a math type academic. My target would be summer funding 2010-2011 although that might have some flexibility. However, there are probably better funding possibilities if this were done as a collaboration with an academic with CS credentials who is willing to work in J; but such grant deadlines are April 2; like yikes if you know how much paperwork is involved. Interested academics (or funders) are welcome to e-mail me privately for more details about what I am considering. Don't you think J is swell? Best, Cliff
