Thank you for your labours, Tracy. General note to volunteers: if you have to stop work on an article permanently but don't consider it's ready for publication, don't remove your name (I want you to get credited) but use a different smiley in place of the green checkmark (./) such as :\ This will draw another reviewer's attention to it and stop me publishing it as-is. ...And I'm sure we'll have space to credit more than one reviewer for a given article.
I shouldn't waste too much time on formatting a fancy table (if it's not J code). I've got the tables already set up in Edn1 of the book and I'll go with those. Just use whatever looks good on the Wiki page. IMO the tables you refer to will look ok if you simply set them as preformatted code. After all they're only word-lists with no layout significance beyond alphabetical order. Remember it's only validated code I'm after. You make a good point about J Help page refs. Gene makes frequent references to the "J Dictionary (and Syntax)", often quoting chapter-and-verse. Reviewers please check the refs are still valid along with Gene's code. Fiddly decision, like if (and how) to quote phrases from the (current) J Help, are best deferred IMO. Even if you then check-off the article as finished. An endnote (c/f Play102) will be enough to draw my attention to the need for a footnote etc. Whatever I decide for the book, I'll retrofit back into the Wiki if it's appropriate. I must leave it to a J expert to comment on your observations re J code.
