When I look at the dictionary, the ;: dyad is the only primitive I
don't have a clue about. I can just about follow the what, but I do
not know the why. Can anyone point me to a good web resource
explaining the practical uses of sequential machines in programming?
Is there a set of problems that are easier or more efficiently solved
using ;: than by another method? I do not use it, but should I? When
would it become useful?

Thanks,
Matthew.
