FYI (not that it matters) I am using Ubuntu, not Windows. There are so
many versions of Windows Vista and Windows that it is confusing. I
don't know what each inferior-sounding version has left out compared
to the superior-sounding versions. I don't have the time to research
through all of the marketing waffle and buzz words either.

Actually I don't feel comfortable getting Windows at all because they
seem to be playing some stupid shenanigans with all the stupid
editions: "Home", "Home Premium", "Professional", "Ultimate" ... I
mean, are they taking the p***?! Is it a joke? Are these people
adults? Do they have driving licenses... scary!

I can just see me in a parallel universe, perhaps I got drunk and made
a silly snap purchase of "W7 Home Edition" (gee, that sounds so crappy
compared to "Ultimate Edition", I don't feel like a real man anymore
for even imagining I would buy such a wimpy sounding OS), but anyway,
there I am staring at the pop-up ... "To use this feature you need to
upgrade to the Ultimate Edition". What a headache. I think I would
have a cerebral aneurism. You would hear me screaming in Canada.
