errr ... thanks. :)

I know a lot of you know the feeling of loosing your audience when talking
about really specialized topics like Schrödinger's cat or the salesman's
problem or the backpack problem. Well, I post here non-J related topics since I
know for a fact that someone (if not everyone) would know what I was talking
about.

Actually, I am a bit frustrated with the General and Programming forums. Why?
Because everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) would beat me to the answer. Hahaha, I
would be composing my answer and realized that somebody else already posted a
better solution (the key word here is "better"). Another one is that I would
start composing a question for the forum and solved the answer to the question
then and there ... and would be so embarassed to post because the solution was
so simple and I didn't thought of the answer in the first place.

I remember about the J user location wikipage. It just shows your country ... I
was hoping for something like a google map pin for J users. I believe somebody
already did that in another website. One that is embedded in the Jsoftware
website would be cool.

r/Alex

Alex, Thank you for persistently treating us like friends. I appreciate
that you share not just your 'J' related discoveries with us but your
feelings too. Most particularly I recall your posting the day you had
that motorcycle crash on the rainy day. The fact that you would
mention that here made me think that you view us as friends. And I
appreciate that.

That makes me think I aught to be a little more open myself - maybe make
a personal web page besides my technical/professional page(s).

That leads my thoughts to the topic of a J-user wiki page or map or J
users. I recall the topic being mentioned but I don't recall reading
anything about it really happening.
