I have used J on an HP iPaq many years and it is really impressive to demonstrate J on it.
J can run many nice demos and it is also nice to be able to test out ideas during times a PC is not near. The iPaq also runs as a telephone and as it is small it is possible to carry it anywhere and is quite useful. It is obviously no match to todays latest models of telephones but it is good enough for most things on the road and is just there always available. It is very important to have a god SD card and it will allow you to move things easily to a PC or another handheld. I am looking forward to getting one of the new handheld Linux machines with J on it. Until then the iPaq is good enough for me.
