When we try out the J7 we use port 1500 Some years ago I made an application for the postal service moving an application from Dos to Windows and sent data to a SAP database over a Socket interface.
When choosing a port me and a friend of mine creating the application we chose the port 1550. That is a known year because the last bishop was beheaded. "In 1550 the bishop of Hólar and two of his sons (Are and Bjorn) were captured and beheaded." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/J%C3%B3n_Arason Note that the Roman Catholic bishops here were always married with children. I guess we never were very much into religion here. http://web.telia.com/~u85906673/asar/havamal/havamal.html -- Björn Helgason, Verkfræðingur Fornustekkum II 781 Hornafirði Po Box 127,801 Selfoss , t-póst: [email protected] gsm: +3546985532 sími: +3544781286 http://groups.google.com/group/J-Programming Tæknikunnátta höndlar hið flókna, sköpunargáfa er meistari einfaldleikans góður kennari getur stigið á tær án þess að glansinn fari af skónum /|_ .-----------------------------------. ,' .\ / | Með léttri lund verður | ,--' _,' | Dagurinn í dag | / / | Enn betri en gærdagurinn | ( -. | `-----------------------------------' | ) | (\_ _/) (`-.
