Good suggestion... I haven't tried that. I imagine it would work ok. I must say I've been afraid to, while I have valuable work on-the-go. Bad things used to happen with APL+Win when you tried it, so I learned the painful way not to. Backing-out anything with Win2000 was like backing your car out of a swamp. And anyway in Windows with its registry you could never be sure that installing two copies of the same app wouldn't find some sneaky way to tread on each other's toes. It was sheer hell shipping anything tricky we'd developed. "DLL-hell".
I'll guess I'll have to dust off my idle Toshiba laptop (which I've been finding excuses not to use... I'm so relieved to be rid of Windows). That will clinch the deal. The truth is: I love writing big complex apps but hate shipping them.
