It looks like if you take the "basic" AI course track, you won't get access to the homework assignments or the tests. (maybe after the test?). I think you may have to take the "advanced" course track for credit, in order to get access to all the programming homework problems and the tests. They say it takes 10 hrs per week to keep up with the advanced track.
I was hoping to go with the basic track, and just try out some of the algorithms in J.
