It would bring into JHS the usability in line with what was in J6 and is in
J7 GTK.

I like to work mainly in ijs and send line or lines over to ijx and
occasionally copy results from ijx over to the ijs to use for further
testing.
Working in/from the ijs also makes creating scripts easy.

Working directly in ijx can be a problem especially changing lines in the
log above the one you are working on makes the following lines not true.
Copy/paste many lines into the log is not good either.
That is why I like scratch to avoid working directly in and with the log
and not need to juggle between tabs.

Using spxinit on some ijs file name for the spx and display that file in a
form and work with it in the form and having ijx in another form on the
same page is good and opens up many possibilities.

It would be good to show the line numbers in the spx display form so when
in the ijx you can say spx 13 and then step on with ctrl+shift+.

JHS would thus leapfrog the old J6 usability in this as well.

Sending lines to the spx file delimited with LF or as boxes and then edit
them in the form window would be ideal.

So the lines in the spx form could be a file on disk or a noun in a locale.
