Hello Chris,

if you want to configure check intervals with check_mk, you could use
something like

extra_service_conf["normal_check_interval"] = [
( '5',   [ "5min" ], ALL_HOSTS, [ 'Check_MK$', ] ),
( '15',  [ "15min"], ALL_HOSTS, [ 'Check_MK$', ] ),
( '60',  [ "1h" ],   ALL_HOSTS, [ 'Check_MK$', ] ),
( '360', [ "6h" ],   ALL_HOSTS, [ 'Check_MK$', ] ),
( '720', [ "12h" ],  ALL_HOSTS, [ 'Check_MK$', ] ),
]

in your main.mk or conf.d/xxx.mk

the above rules set the check-intervals for the service Check_MK depending
on a special host-tag ("5min", "12h", etc.)

please note, that you have to specify for which services you want to
set the custom interval, if you use other active checks beside the
Check_MK check (HTTP, SMTP, etc.)

Greetings
Sebastian
