This looks like it recompiled checks and then rebooted the core. I tried to
make a memory rule again, but we got the same error.

Thank you,

Hi Lincoln,

no problem on my system with HP switches.
I think the problem comes from another rule.
What happens if you do on the command line a "cmk --debug -vvR" ?

best regards
Andreas

Hello Andreas,

Version: 1.4.0p24

We are on the most current release but I see here there is a 1.4.0p34 now. Are
you able to send us the version of the check you have to compare?

Ours:

Subject: Re: [Check_mk (english)] Memory Thresholding Error

Hi Lincoln,

what version of Check_MK do you use?
One year before there was a bugfix regarding the levels for this check. But it
should be fixed since then.

Can you have a look if you have inside "~/local/share/check_mk/checks" a
modified version of "hp_procurve_mem"?
It is possible that there is an older version of this check what cannot handle
to defined parameters.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello All,

We are getting an error when we activiate a change to a memory threshold.

Error:

Failed: Error creating configuration: Invalid entry '({'levels': ('perc_used',
(85.0, 90.0))}, ['/wato/World_Food_Processing/+'], ['@all'], [''])' in host
configuration list: must have 2 or 3 entries (on host lam-blm-sw2, checktype
hp_procurve_mem)

Has anyone ran into this and know the resolution?

Thank you,
