Hi,
Now that a few people are starting to use the API, you may find that
some APIs are slightly difficult to use, or that you use the same
patterns all the time and that helper methods would be welcome. If so,
please give feedback to the list.
Off the top of my head, here are a few that we'll probably have to add
eventually:
- CMISObject.getBaseType()
- ObjectEntry.getBaseType()
- CMISObject.isFolder(), .isDocument(), etc. (are the other two useful?)
- Connection.getObject(ObjectId) (with only a single argument)
Please add to this list, and discuss the pros and cons of the new APIs.
Note that we shouldn't go overboard either, too many similar methods
with different kinds of arguments would probably confuse the API user.
