I've never been to an ApacheCon (although I've done a JavaOne talk before) so I'm not sure what kind of track would be best. As you say the Content track seems a given, and the WebServices is a perfect fit as well. What would be the next steps? March 21st is a bit short to hash out the details of the sessions!
I believe the March 21st deadline is for getting day long tracks (themes) approved - you don't have to work out the exact session plan for a track just yet.
I'm putting together a proposal for a content track, so I've added Chemistry as a possible contributor to that. It would probably also be worth contacting the Web Services PMC to let them know you might be interested in contributing a talk to their track if they run one (they usually do). I'd suggest you drop a quick email to [email protected] to let them know that you might be interested, so they can include it in their proposal if they feel it's a good fit too.
