Dear Candidate, Synergy Log-in Systems Ltd(www.synlog.net).,a Globsyn Group Company is currently looking for MySQL DBA professionals to work on a challenging project for one of its US based client.The incumbent should have have 2+ years of experience with large volume clustered databases used by high traffic web sites, hands-on experience managing large MySQL environments, 2-3 years experience in a Linux/Unix environment, fluent exposure in SQL92 and MySQL's dialect. Java based web applications will be preferred.
The key responsibilities would involve working with operations team to manage existing and plan future infrastructure. Assist with database design and SQL programming during the development process, develop backup and recovery procedures, assist engineering team with local and test database setup and configuration and working with analytics team to deliver business metrics on daily and ad hoc basis. The job location is Kolkata and salary would not be a constraint for the deserving candidate.
