was
analysed and then the reasons were looked into.

Post that some of the commonly used data structues in Python were mentioned

Lightning Talks
------------------

*3d rendering of data for information dissemination, *
*particuarly during times like Wardah by Ashwin*

This talk was about how to render data available on websites like IMD
in a 3d format to the common man. This aim of this work by Ashwin,
is to create awareness to the common man using forums like Twitter,
about imminent catastrophies like cyclone so that the common man is
well-informed and can take suitable action to protect himself.

*An upcoming technology - Compressive Sensing by Ashok*

Instead of acquiring large amounts of data and throwing a good portion of
the same as useless information,
this talk explored the option of directly acquiring useful information.

The Rice University in US is specialising on the same amd there is a
startup company called
"Inview" which is also investing on this technology.

*Invitation by Free Software Foundation Tamil Nadu (https://fsftn.org/
<https://fsftn.org/>) to be held from January 26-29, 2017 at B.S. Abdur
Rahman University, Chennai.*

4CCon is the second national conference of Free Software Movement of India (
http://fsmi.in/), the umbrella organisation of territorial and sectoral
organisations dedicated to the cause of software freedom across the
country. FSFTN, which is a part of FSMI, is the host for 4CCon.
