Meeting Minutes of 27th Apr 2019 is as below, The meeting started with Eyeopener about "meetup" and volunteer selection for meeting minutes, timekeeping and to shoot photo during the meeting.
*1st Talk* Dhanesh kasinathan architect in pramathi gave the first talk on "causal inference", he mentioned it as a complex so he had divided it into small talk, It was part 1 session of this theme. In the talk, the following points were discussed, *1. *Machine learning workflow Xnew - > model -> Ynew 2. Objective 1 - To understand Causal inference, Correlation is not causal The correlation will not give the reality, there will be hidden cause 3. Objective 2 - To understand "do-why" framework from Microsoft 4. How to increase user activity on Xbox 5. No of friends to Xbox activity or user interest in gaming 6. Decision-making process - Counter factual explanation 1 7. Casual graphical models 8. Potential Outcomes frameworks 9. Principal component analysis - for reducing variables *2nd Talk* Karthikeyan Singaravelan from happyfox who is also a contributor of CPython gave the second talk on "Security vulnerability in http.cookiejar" In the talk, the following points were discussed, 1. Cookie jar - cookie sharer and store 2. Types of issues - prefix on domain name and suffix path in path parameter had an issue and it was affecting all who use request object in python. This has been recently reported and fixed is available upcoming release. Karthik also shared his journey through his contribution towards this security bug and he also exposed how much time it took for the team to fix and release the fix. *Coffee Break and Networking* *3rd Talk* Naren gave a take on "A talk on how to give a tech talk" He gave a lot of tips and tricks and well-defined journey a person should take to become a successful speaker at meetups and conference. He also opened up the upcoming opportunity for fellow python developers to speak pycon india 2019 Below are few gists of the talk What do you already know? What you want to know?
