Hello Pythonistas!, Warm greetings from PyCon India! We are on full steam for the 2025 edition of PyCon India.
As you might know, this year we are hosting PyCon India in Bengaluru, from Sept 12-15, and on Sep 15th, Monday, we are having the DevSprint. DevSprint serves as a great avenue for open source projects to get new contributors contributing to the projects and for potential contributors, it serves as a low-friction avenue to get access to maintainers and to have project maintainers help them get onboard to open source. We have been on the hunt for a venue for conducting the DevSprint. Due to the complexities of DevSprint being on a work day, most of our usual options are out of reach. For this, we need YOUR help! The requirements for the venue host are as follows: - A venue accommodating 100-200 participants - Reliable Wi-Fi and ample power outlets. We can bring a few of our own extension cords if necessary - Tea/Coffee during the event - A projector and microphone setup for the initial project elevator pitches. - Area to serve lunch and, preferably arrangements for lunch as well What do we offer in return? - Mention on the PyCon India 2025 landing as a DevSprint Venue Sponsor - Social media engagement for DevSprint related announcements - A 15 minute elevator pitch to talk about the company We are also open to renting a co-working style workspace which has rooms big enough to accommodate the required number of attendees.
