I'd like to use php with cgi (fastcgi is not working
yet afaik). I installed php4-core from ports (OpenBSD
3.8), this is php4-core-4.4.0. Type php -v:
PHP 4.4.0 (cli).
How do I enable parsing of php scripts? There are
these lines in default (in sites-available folder):
Extension php, php3, php4 {
Handler phpcgi
}
But they don't work. I tried to search manually for
the php4-cgi file, but I couldn't find it. I read here
http://trac.lighttpd.net/trac/wiki/TutorialLighttpdAndPHP
that php's gotta be recompiled from source to get
things work. I hope this is avoidable somehow.
And anyway, which version of php is recommended to
use, php4 or php5? I would like to install it from
ports if possible (not from source).
