It should work because at the first time during the admin user registration the entered name and e-mail address are inserted in mysql database. This file can be found: ./usr/lib/php5/20050922/mysql.so >Are you able to log in using a different user, without admin privileges? Not at all. Having clicked on the 'create the first account' link I entered the admin name and an e-mail address and when pressed the 'Create new account' button the error page was displayed. >Did you set up logs for cherokee? Have you take a look to those logs? Yes, but it says nothing. The last 2 lines of cherokee.error: 127.0.0.1 - - [24/Aug/2006:10:44:47 +0100] "GET /drupal/index.php HTTP/1.1" 403 0 "http://localhost/drupal/index.php?q=user/register" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; hu-HU; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20060629 Firefox/1.0.4 (Debian package 1.0.4-2sarge9)" 127.0.0.1 - - [24/Aug/2006:10:44:47 +0100] "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1" 404 0 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; hu-HU; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20060629 Firefox/1.0.4 (Debian package 1.0.4-2sarge9)" Cherokee runs only on local. It sets: User www-data Group www-data The directory /var/www owner and group are set correctly. The drupal directory is put under /var/www with the same ownership. I've found on the net that 'Allow UserConf' settings should be used in 'UserDir public_html' section, but if this line is inserted in /etc/cherokee/sites-available/default file the cherokee server didn't start at all. I have no idea :-( thanx Peter -- Peter Abraham [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- http://www.fastmail.fm - Or how I learned to stop worrying and love email again _______________________________________________ Cherokee mailing list Cherokee@0x50.org http://www.0x50.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cherokee
