  Actually, these beta releases aren't meant to be distributed or used
  in any kind of environment.  They are just subversion snapshots that
  would help developers and testers who are not keen to use svn or who
  had problem with the autotools trying to build it right from the
  repository tree, that's all.

  If you want to package it just for the fun of it, or in order to
  start writing the base with which the final 0.6 package would be
  build in, it's also great; but please, do not understand these
  developer beta versions as something stable enough for production
  environments. They are not.

  The final 0.6 release is still, at least, two or three months ahead.
  We are plenty of stuff to finish, test and optimise for it.
