Hi Cherokee Community

I've been using cherokee on a few test servers for quite a while as a lighter
alternative for apache. I was always pretty happy with it, as most things just
worked as I thought.

However the server started to have some problem since I'm back from my New York
trip. When I'm opening a page that doesn't exist I get a 404 and when I open a
simple html file I see that file, but as soon as I try to open a php page that
echo's a hello world the only thing I get is a timeout after a while.
It works again when I start cherokee before I've manually killed all php &
cherokee processes. Although cherokee started to use 99% of my cpu after that!

As the error log shows nothing I'm stuck with that problem.

I'm using the following software:

- Cherokee 0.55 (I'll upgrade to 0.56 as soon as I get see this problem again)
- PHP 5.21
- Debian with 2.6.17.11vnode1-grsec2.1.9-vs2.0.2vnode1-rev3 kernel

Configuration is straight forward according to the documentation.

Is there someone who already had a similar problem?

Thanks a lot!
