It should be. Well, except for the server auto-launch in fcgi. A few weeks ago I worked on a new class named cherokee_process that implemented an abstraction layer for all this stuff. Unfortunately, I didn't quite like the result so I didn't integrate it. Anyway, I think that is something that ought to wait for the 0.7 release. Right now it would be a risk patch to integrate. >> Currently there are no big tasks waiting, but we do need to write down >> the documentation and come up with a solution for the configuration >> interface. > > As soon as we have a detailed documentation about configuration file > we will be able to use 0.6.x. > > IMHO we could just skip the configuration web interface; > setting it as a 0.7 target would not be a bad idea, because: > > - I suspect it will require some time > (many subreleases and a few months) > to make it robust and easy to use; > > - right now there is no developer / maintainer for such a software, > so before starting to struggle with the problem > it's better to find out the person who will perform the task; > > - last but not least we are already a bit late with 0.6 release. Agreed, although it will be a real pity to miss one of the coolest features of 0.6 when all the underneath work is done and dusted. -- Greetings, alo. http://www.alobbs.com _______________________________________________ Cherokee mailing list [email protected] http://cherokee-project.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/cherokee
