  No, there is not a deadline. It would be great to get it done in the
  next few releases.. but, we have not set a date for it.  Do you have

  As you prefer, it is up to you. It would be interesting to discuss
  the architecture and implementation on-the-fly to ensure everything
  is going well.

  About the incomplete patches, I think it is a good idea to send it,
  you will get more feedback while you are working on it.
