It appears that Cherokee reports the destination URL of a redirected URL
in the log file, but reports the original URL as the referer for
subsequent requests for in-page files such as css and jpeg images.

For example, it you visit
     http://www.kurtmckee.org/archives/google-found-me.html
I have a redirect rule set up so that the actual URL requested will be
     http://www.kurtmckee.org/index.php?name=google-found-me

In the log file, /archives/google-found-me.html will be reported as
/index.php, which is not what was requested by the user. I belive it's
because of this inconsistency that I'm experiencing problems
administering my Wordpress installation (the referer is always
inconsistent), and I know for a fact that it's preventing AWStats from
correctly determining what URLs are being requested (all of my posts
just show up as a generic hit for /index.php).

Please, could Cherokee be modified to write the requested URL, rather
than the redirected destination URL, to the log files? I also think that
the problem is deeper than just the logfiles -- it looks like it's
causing referer checking errors.

Thanks so much for Cherokee!

Sincerely,
Kurt McKee
