Then it's just a matter of learning 'apt-get source',
dpkg-buildpackage and friends. I'm running rev86 from SVN built
as a Debian package by using the latest official version (thanks
Gunnar) and specifically just the Debian subdirectory of that.
Look into it if you're interested. It really usually
isn't that hard to make your own package and it is sometimes a
necessity if you are running on testing/unstable and all of this
should transfer with little to no changes on Ubuntu.
