All static content of i.fok.nl  (forum in the world top 10) comes from 
an old version of Cherokee. When I was still able to check the switch 
parameters it was a continuous stream of 10Mbit/s, but significant peaks.

The load on that system only rised due some older (and thank god fixed) 
bugs. Why they did not upgrade yet is more incompetence. Basically the 
performance over the use of Apache increased because of the ability of 
Cherokee to maintain not-modified headers, and do this fast.
