I have had the 'Update Windows port' task on my TO-DO list for quite some time now. Actually, I'm feeling shame because of the number of times I have postponed it since the last time we released Windows binaries. However, I have come to realized that we'll have to find a Windows developer to help us to maintain it. I spent a huge amount of time on the original port because I don't know much about Windows nor its API, and quite frankly, I think that my time would be much better spent if I continued working on the main source tree. > Alvaro; what do you think about the python part on Windows? However, since it's a Python application it should end up being relatively easy to fix/port. The GUI application would be definitely a nice-to-have, although I don't think we should put any resource on it right now. Our focus and expertise ought to remain on HP/HA web. It'd be an amazing community project though. It may be a good idea to propose it for the next edition of the Google Summer of Code or something.. :-) -- Octality http://www.octality.com/ _______________________________________________ Cherokee mailing list [email protected] http://lists.octality.com/listinfo/cherokee
