Cherokee 0.10.0 "Rock n Roll Train" released!

Cherokee is a very fast, flexible and easy to configure Web Server.
It supports the widespread technologies nowadays: FastCGI, SCGI, PHP,
CGI, TLS and SSL encrypted connections, Virtual hosts, Authentication,
on the fly encoding, Apache compatible log files, HTTP load balancing,
data base balancing, and much more.
Cherokee also provides an easy to use configuration interface that
allows to configure the server from top to bottom without having to
edit a text configuration file.

Changes

This release ships a whole lot of important improvements; this is the
best Cherokee web server version so far. The overall stability and
performance have been improved while a number of minor bugs have been
fixed:
Cherokee:
- I/O cache stability has been greatly improved
- Added a protection against internal redirection loops
- Logs are opened in a safer way
- Code clean up
- Server Info provides more I/O-cache information
- Better memory management on exit
- fastcgi/scgi/cgi are slightly faster now
- fastcgi/scgi/cgi: PathInfo/RequestUri bug-fix
- New QA options (for development purposes)
- Compilation with pthread has been fixed
- HTTP-Digest Nonce handling has been fixed
- A new AuthList validator has been included
Documentation:
- Many documentation subjects have been updated
- A new Data Base balancing cookbook has been added
- Man pages have been updated
- There are a few new entries: community, development, etc.
Administration interface:
- A new security measure has been put in place (login password)
- The auto-submit mechanism has been improved
- I/O cache can be enabled/disabled server wide
- Graceful restart has been improved
