This is great ..

For the record and since this  looks like  another   stepping over  I'd
like to comment
I think is great that we can work as a  team with the debian and ubuntu
packages

the ppa packages for ubuntu I've made are meant not to step over anyone
or  take over anything,
this packages are mean to fill the hole I've found in ubuntu with new
packages to test or use.

A big advantage we can get in ubuntu is that there are no  rdepends or 
broke any dependency with newer cherokee packages for ubuntu.

PPA is a tool for test and use  new packages from anyone  and not to
replace the official packages
This is a win win  situation  the more tested, the more users  the more
maintainers, the more developers we can get.

as soon as  ubuntu 9.04  opens for merges  I'll request  the merge
I'd really like that Ubuntu 9.04 can be released with the lattest
cherokee by the Freeze time.
