For fixing any issues in Etch, we need to have the 0.5.5+dfsg-2
packages. For fixing any issues in Lenny, we will need to refer to
0.7.2-4. Different Ubuntu releases will refer to different points in
time. And yes, upstream development is centered in TRUNK.

Although I am the first to recognize I am a very lacking maintainer
(as I prefer not to even delve in your C code if I can help it), I do
hope this will lead to the packages being better maintained.

Also, I sometimes work from one computer, sometimes from a different
one. And as you can see on several revisions (i.e. the 0.7 series had
four revisions by me), the work we do as maintainers also retains its
history.

So, basically, this repository is geared towards Debian- (and
derivatives) integration. I'm more than happy to count Leonel in to
this effort, as it will only make it better.

Greetings,
