I've seen this issue on this list multiple times as well as on the irc channel (which btw: you should register) I spent at least 4 hours compiling, recompiling, tweaking, tracing, stracing, etc for what was actually an issue with cherokee itself, as I've worked with lighttpd ,apache and other web servers, and never ran into a similar issue.
