Cherokee is serving the 8 student computers in my science classroom, all
running Ubuntu Intrepid. Students are fetching their daily assignments and
uploading their work with a PHP dropbox program (DropBocks).

The phone company is supposed to come next week to install a DSL connection
that will get us beyond our four walls. To help the students stay focused on
the right things, I'd like to be able to turn Internet access on and off. I
could "pull the plug" from the modem, but that seems so low tech. Is there a
simple way I can accomplish this with a mouse click or keypress from the
server on my desk?
