Just add to your sources.list the ppa source deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/cherokee-webserver/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main then just do a apt-get update apt-get upgrade and you'll have the new cherokee backup your /etc/cherokee.conf just as precaution.
