Hello, Me again ... I had already two months with this issue, if you remember me, I had constantly timeouts trying to use the cherokee admin.
What I was doing to solve It? 1. Check my internet connection. I test it from many diferent ISP, from dialup to cable connection, and also from diferent computers and OS I still had timeouts 2. Check user permissions, iptables, firewall. Even removing anything that sounds suspicious. 3. Use alternative configuration fo cherokee-admin: -b, -b -u, both with and without using ssh tunneling, the same I still had the timeouts, At last 4. Reinstall. I just reinstall ALL my VPS, Ubuntu Server 64 bits, I still had the same timeouts, I also buy a new VPS, with the same Ubuntu Server 64 bits, and also timeouts :( My last idea is ¿There could be any issues with cherokee on ubuntu for 64 bits?, I had install it localy cherokee on Ubuntu for 32 bits, and launch the admin with ssh tunnels and works just fine. ¿Could it be? Looking forward the exact error is this: Error 320 (net::ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE): Unknow Error. I don't know what that means. I don't know were to look up, I had been very pacient :(, for now I am doing the settings by directly editing the cherokee.conf file, that is anoying and certainly I don't want to keep doing that.
