I'm afraid I'm not quite sure what exactly you are talking about. Is it one of these ([1], [2]), or are we talking about something else? Maybe I missed something. Btw, the list of mirrors on [2] is a bit outdated ;-)
Anyway, I believe you have a lot more taste than I do when it comes to design, so by all means... :) We've also got the website on SVN ([3]). As you can see, the main idea is to keep the content as static as possible. Just let me know if you need anything.
