I wanted to followup with my earlier post about streaming issues.

It appears that I did not have FFMPEG support in our installation-
even though FFMPEG existed and functioned on the system.  Unsure what
the problem here is, so I am in process of installing FFMPEG from
source as opposed to Ubuntu's default manner and version installed.

Sorry for claiming something didn't work.

I will followup when I get my installation perfected and offer the
steps for others who have the same problems in the future.
