If you want to deploy svn over webdav, you need a web server that supports dav (and svn, but I'm not sure about that). Unfortunately, Cherokee doesn't support webdav by now. That doesn't means you can't use Cherokee on the frontend if you need to server other kind of stuff and benefit from it.
