PPA it's updated now. I was waiting for some ssl bug feedback and some said it's working. even for me it's a no go for production. > > Besides that, would be good having documentation on how to build from source for Debian/Ubuntu so we dont get stuck when the PPA doesn't update. > I need to push this new release as fast as possible to production but I'm > unable to build it cleanly in a deb package with dependencies, like PPA does. Any receipt? If you just want to update the package with the new version IF theres no debian package fix you can follow this recipe : https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PackagingGuide/Recipes/PackageUpdate Or you can follow the main cherokee package for Debian Unstable make your git clone : git clone git://git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/cherokee.git cd cherokee git-buildpackage Once Gunnar or myself have pushed the new cherokee to git.debian.org I take that package then do the backport for Lucid and push it to PPA As I've said on previous mails Karmic,Jaunty and hardy packages versions they CAN NOT be builded from Lucid or Debian Unstable for dependencies not meet. So the package for these 3 is a fork from the current Lucid and Debian Unstable. If theres a bug in the package the pathes get ported from Lucid to karmic an then the backport to Jaunty and Hardy Saludos _______________________________________________ Cherokee mailing list [email protected] http://lists.octality.com/listinfo/cherokee
