Hello,

I am new to this mailing list, and new to Cherokee. I have been researching it
along with the couple of other lightweight popular web servers.

My question has to do with installing the Fedora Cherokee package from the
Fedora repository.

I am installing it on a machine with nothing but the kernel and base fedora
packages.

It says it depends on the "mysql-libs" package which I am wondering about.
Is this a Fedora repository mistake or does Cherokee really depend on this
package?

It says on the Cherokee website that is it completely modular and only requires
other installs if you intend to you functionality beyond server static content.

Well all I ran was this:
yum install cherokee

And it says I need "mysql-libs" (and "FastCGI" of course), is this right?

Sincerely,
---
