Fair enough, but, when i tried running with the Interpreter "empty", cherokee started screaming like there was no tomorrow! Server woundn't go up. What should i have in *Interpreter* if i don't want anything there?

'Remote Host' instead of 'Local Interpreter' on your information source definition.

However, I bet your problem is related to environment inheritance (or lack of, for that matter). There is a checkbox for that, and it certainly can affect spawning.
