I'm setting up Cherokee for the first time for a PHP proprietary platform. Everything is working as expected with FastCGI, excelent web server so far.
My problem is just with custom a error handler written in PHP that doesn't work on the default vserver. The file name is 404.php which has some parsing expressions and a javascript redirection. When I test a page that should trigger the 404.php the browser shows it's own 404 error, but if I rename the same file to 404.html it lands on the page. What I'm missing? Can you please help me? I've attached my conf file. My OS is CentOS 5.6. Previously I installed via yum the version 1.0.6 in which the problem was first detected. Then I removed it and installed the 1.2.2 via your express python installer.
