Being a hot rodder and all, the stock color wasn't good enough, so we added
a very small amount of gold pearl on top of the first and forth coat of
clear. Pictures don't do it justice, you need sunglasses outside just to
look at it. : )

Let's see if I can explain this right. I designed the dash out of
cardboard. Once I was happy with it, I took my creation to the body shop
and The Cobbler (his self appointed name) created the metal version of my
dash. In all honesty I don't know how much time he put into it but trust me
when I say it wasn't cheap.
