Something must flex and it is typically the upper control arms.  Either
the arm or a giant Heim joint in one end of the arms.

The Hotchkiss system is really stiff. So stiff it causes friction and
poor handling.  But zero wheel hop.

Poor handling is a relative term.   My idea is the 5/6 turn combination
at Willow Springs Raceway.  Bumpy twisty stuff with both maximum
braking and 30 seconds of WOT and having the front wheels get airborn.

The Hotchkiss cars just could not get around the track as well as the
GW cars, particularly in that section.
