Possibly boring and dry information :) A reminder and a virus warning from the list admin. There is a nasty little virus that is being sent around. It usually arrives with a title that sounds like something you may be interested in (emails are generated from cached webpages that may have your email address on them) and the subject line changes. The main item is: The email message can appear as follows: Subject: [filename (random)] Body: Hi! How are you? I send you this file in order to have your advice I mention this because there is a chance it could be sent through the list as an attachment. IF you see the above, do not click on it. For more information please visit: www.mcafee.com/anti-virus/viruses/sircam/default.asp?cid=2371 [EMAIL PROTECTED] We do block attachments over a certain size from reaching the list and everyday I get about 10 rejected 'spammers' who try to email all of us. I felt it important to pass this info to all on the Chevelle-list just in case. Note: The attachment blocking also applies to sending pictures to the list. With close to 300 recipients there is no way we can handle sending a half meg file to that many - plus a lot of us are on slow connections.
