| So, before I go out and get my Chevy shoes, I need to get a Chevy CAR! I
just busted in telling you guys that I am looking for a 71 Chevelle SS convertible. This is a car I had from 1973 to 1987. I paid $2200 for it and it had 52,000 miles on it. The guy I bought it from used it to tow his race car around. I basically did the mechanical maintenance on it but really neglected the appearance. For the 14 years I had it, I put on 200,000 miles on it and never did anything to the engine (350). The top was ripped and the back seats too and the stuffing would fly all over the place. In 1987 I sold the car for $2200, what I paid for it and that was a huge mistake. So, that's why I'm looking for another. Any help would be appreciated (sources, etc.) Thanks, Mark Los Angeles |
