I have a very
late build date on my 64 chevelle convert that I mentioned to you before.It
was built June 29th/1964 and not shipped until july 7th/1964.It was built at
the Oshawa,Ontario plant.I used to go down to the Storage holding yards
for new cars,near my home in the early 60's and peer through the fence so I
could see the new models of Chevs and Fords .I would always see them come
in in early August,but they weren,t in the showrooms for a few more weeks.On
Sunday of this week,the 12th of August,I jogged down early to A Pontiac
dealership one mile from my home and in the back they already have 2002
Grandams,and Buick Regals.
