You're absolutely right. Typically though, directional tread design tires are
only used on "G" machines for handling. They have real low aspect ratios
(narrow side walls). Most guys just use regular performance radials which are
not directional (i.e. Cooper Cobra, Firestone SS, BF Goodrich). Are we still
beating this dead horse?
