Originally I was supposed to give him $1,000 for all his materials and labor
(I bought the paint and primer, Dupont chromabase about $500), but when he
jacked it up like he did his pay diminished rather quickly, especially the
trunk although it looks better than it did when he first done it, it still
looks like crap. I am now starting to get a bubble up on the passenger side
rocker panel that was supposed to have been fixed, so I am going to start
collecting panels for when I have a real close friend that won't f--k up the
job on me do the body work. He might paint it but I am leaning toward me
trying my hand at it some more, maybe. When I do it again though the body
is coming off and I am doing it right, I dread it but I am going to do it, I
just don't want it to be down too long!!!! I know if it comes apart it will
end up being 5-10 years before it gets finished, thats my luck!! The
longest I really want it down is 1 year, there is a possibility I could have
it done to my tastes by then, thats why I am going to start getting all the
parts now so then they will all already be here. Well only time will tell.
Anyway I wouldn't let that guy (that screwed up my car) paint my house!!!
